The system will send you a confirmation email. You can also confirm the cancellation was successful by clicking on the email tab inside your billing account. All emails Acenet sends you are logged there.
Make sure you have a copy of your website, email and databases before the service ends. After cancellation, the data can't be recovered.

Request a cancellation

1. Log in to the Client Area.

2. Click Services, then My Services.

3. Click the service you want to cancel.

4. In the Actions menu on the left, click Request Cancellation.

5. Briefly describe your reason for cancelling.

6. Choose the Cancellation Type:

  • End of Billing Period: the service stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Immediate: the service and everything on it are removed as soon as the request is processed.

7. Click Request Cancellation.

Make sure you have a copy of your website, email and databases before the service ends. After cancellation, the data can't be recovered.

After you cancel

  • Confirm the cancellation. We'll send you a confirmation email. You can also find it under Hello, your name! > Email History.
  • Cancel each service separately. If you have other services you don't want to renew, repeat these steps for each one.
  • Domains are cancelled separately. Domain registrations are billed on their own and renew unless you turn off auto-renewal. See Cancel a domain registration.
