How do I change my virtual server's hostname

[1] Log into your VPS Control Panel

Your VPS Control Panel log in details were provided in the email you received once your VPS was turned up.

[2] Once you're logged into your VPS Control Panel, click to the right of the server you're wanting to change the hostname of.

[3] Click the tab.

[4] Enter your new hostname into the 'New Hostname' text field.

[5] Click the button.

[6] Reboot your server to have the new hostname take effect. For assistance with rebooting your VPS, please see How do I reboot my virtual server?
