How long until my order is activated?

If the order requires further verification, you will be contacted for further manual verification. Dedicated Servers require manual activation. An Acenet team member will generate a new support ticket within an hour of your dedicated server order, requesting your server preferences, such as Operating System and partitioning scheme. Acenet can also advise recommended partitioning schemes. Typically it takes about an hour to load your Operating System with your preferred partitioning scheme. It could take a little longer if your order includes hardware upgrades (e.g., hardware RAID, additional RAM or additonal hard drives.) If your dedicated server order does not pass the necessary verification checks, it may require further verification. But most legitimate dedicated server orders either pass the necessary verification checks initially or can be approved by any team member after collecting minimal additional information. Acenet understands the balance between minimal verification hassle and promoting security/low pricing. Regardless of when you place your dedicated server order, you can expect us to start processing your order within an hour. If your order does not pass the automated verification checks, Acenet will contact you within an hour for the information needed for manual verification.
