If there's anything we can do to keep you happy and for you to continue to have your domain name registered with us - get in touch with us at our Helpdesk

If you still wish to transfer your domain name away from Acenet, kindly follow the instructions provided below to obtain your domain's EPP/authorization code.

[1] Log into your Client Area

If you do not have access to your billing account with us, you can request a password reset here:

Client Area Password Reset

[2] Click on the Mydomains whmcs.jpg tab.

[3] Click the View Details icon View details whmcs.jpg to the right of the domain you're wanting to transfer away.

[4] Click the Whmcs disable auto renew.jpg button.

Please ensure you have access to the registrant contact email address located under the WHOIS information for the domain. Please review this guide to view/update your WHOIS information: http://kb.acenet.us/Change_your_domain_registration_WHOIS_Contact_Information
Optional: You're unable to update your domain's name servers while the transfer is processing, which usually takes a couple of weeks to complete. So, you will want to make sure your domain is pointed to the proper name servers before initiating the transfer. You can do so under the 'Nameservers' section. Click the Whmcs save changes.jpg button under the 'Nameservers' section if you update your domain's name servers.

[5] Make sure that 'Registrar Lock' is unchecked.

[6] Click the Whmcs save changes.jpg button under the 'Registrar Lock' section.

[7] Log into our Helpdesk

[8] Submit a ticket to our Sales and Billing department requesting your domain's EPP/authorization code. Please make sure to specify in your ticket that you have already disabled the auto renew option for your domain and that your domain has been unlocked through your Client Area.
