This demo will show you how to change a domain's MX record through your cPanel.

Follow the directions in this demo ONLY if you wish to have your mail duties handled by a 3rd party mail server. If you wish to have your mail delivered to your account with Acenet leave your MX record as it is originally set. Changing your MX record to an invalid entry may cause a disruption in mail services.

[1] Click on "MX Entry Maintenance" within the "E-Mail Management Tools" section of your cPanel

[2] Select the domain you want to modify the MX record for in the "Change MX for" drop down menu

[3] Enter the FQDN (Full Qualified Domain Name) of your new email server in the "to" field

[4] Click the "Change" button to change your domain's MX record
