This demo will show you how to change a user-created FTP account's password. If you wish to change your main FTP account's password, please see our demo on changing your cPanel password. Your main FTP account uses your cPanel password for authentication.

[1] Click on the "FTP Accounts" icon within the "Files" section of your cPanel

[2] Scroll down and locate the FTP account that needs its password changed under the "FTP Accounts" section

[3] Click on "Change Password" to the right of the FTP account

[4] Enter your password into the two "Password" fields (You can use cPanel's password generation utility if you prefer)

[5] Click the "Change Password" button to change your FTP account's password
