SFTP using Filezilla

To connect to your account with SFTP:

1) Open FileZilla

2) Enter the address of the server in the field Host, located in the Quickconnect bar.

3) Enter your cPanel username

4) Enter your cPanel password

5) Enter "22" for the port number.

6) Click on Quickconnect or press Enter to connect to the server.

7) Click OK when you get a warning about an unknown host key.

Please note that SFTP is only available using the cPanel username and password. FTP accounts created in cPanel cannot connect via SFTP.
