Enabling Fancy Indexing

This demo will show you how to enable fancy indexing through your cPanel.

Fancy indexing is a way to display the contents of a directory that has no index file. It will provide information about each file (with filename and description).







[1] Click on "Index Manager" within the "Advanced Tools" section of your cPanel

[2] Select the folder you wish to modify by clicking on the name of the folder

* Note: if you need to browse deeper into the directory structure click on the folder icon to the left of the folder's name

[3] Click on the radio button marked "Fancy Indexing" and then click the "Save" button
