This demo will show you how to add an addon domain through your cPanel.

Addon Domains Explained:

Addon domains enable you to host additional sites under your current control panel/user directory. Each addon domain will have its own web pages, email accounts, MySQL database(s), and FTP access. However, all domains will be controlled through you current cPanel.

[1] Click on the "Addon Domains" icon within the "Domains" section of your cPanel

Note: If you do not have an Addon Domain icon in your cPanel, then your hosting plan does not currently have any Addon Domain allowances. To purchase additional Addon Domain allowances, please submit an upgrade request through our Account Upgrades online form. Our sales team will contact you and help you with the purchase once you submit the form.

[2] Enter the addon domain you would like to add in the "New Domain Name" field

[3] cPanel will automatically generate a subdomain/FTP username and document root for you (It is usually best to keep these the way cPanel sets them unless you have special requirements)

[4] Use the "Generate Password" button to generate a randomized alphanumeric secure password

[5] Copy the password provided and store it in a safe place where you can reference it later

[6] Check the box once you have copied the password to a safe place

[7] Click the "Use Password" button

[8] Click the "Add Domain" button to finish creating the addon domain
