CDP Backup Failure - Cannot Connect to Server

This is the most common error seen with CDP Backups. In order to resolve this, please run the following commands:

<syntaxhighlight lang="bash"> yum -y update serverbackup* serverbackup-setup --get-module service cdp-agent restart </syntaxhighlight>

This will update the R1Soft CDP Agent software and kernel module, and restart the CDP Agent software. The next CDP Backup should run successfully.

If you receive any additional errors, or would like a Systems Administrator to take a look at your backups, please login to your Client Area and open a new support ticket.
