If you still wish to transfer your domain name away from Acenet, kindly follow the instructions provided below to obtain your domain's EPP/authorization code.
Before a domain can be transferred:
-Domains must be active. Expired domains cannot be transferred.
-You must have access to the resgistrant email address for the domain.
Please note, any changes to the WHOIS will trigger a 60 day transfer lock.
To Transfer you domain away from Acenet:
[1] Log into your Client Area
If you do not have access to your billing account with us, you can request a password reset here:
[2] Click on Domains and then My Domains.
[3] Click on the domain that you need the EPP code for.
[4] Click on Get EPP Code on the left under Manage.
[5] Make sure that 'Registrar Lock' is disabled by clicking on Registrar Lock to the left under Manage and clicking "Disable Registrar Lock".
For .UK domains, kindly submit a ticket to our Sales and Billing department requesting to have the domain's IPS TAG changed to the new registrar's IPS TAG. Please be sure to provide the IPS TAG new registrar in the ticket.
