Acenet's system administrators have done some extensive testing with InnoDB in the past and decided it was not suitable for a shared hosting environment. The increase in overhead over MyISAM and the fact that we would have to take MySQL completely offline for hours to rebuild a single corrupt database are the main reasons why we do not support it on our shared servers. InnoDB cannot be enabled for one website only, it has to be enabled server wide.
